Business communications provider, Fusion Communications, has doubled its customer base over the past year as it has assisted businesses in streamlining their mobile connectivity whilst employees work remotely.

Working in partnership with Plan.com, Fusion has helped customers implement the effective communications platform, MyPlan, not only to keep employees and employers connected, but have access to valuable, live insight. As a result, Fusion has grown its turnover by 35%.

The highly-customisable MyPlan platform enables users to optimise connectivity, with simple device controls and easy to use management tools which empower teams with live data and reporting on both mobile and hosted usage and productivity. The platform has been a crucial element of many users’ ‘work from home’ strategies, enabling businesses to have a clear overview of how technology is being utilised, with complete transparency and visibility all in real time.

Oliver Rowe, founder and CEO of Fusion Communications, said: “Over the past 12 months, we have supported a variety of businesses and enterprises to keep in control of their communications whilst they work remotely.

“The MyPlan platform has been extremely popular with our customers due to the high level of customisation and insights it can provide, and we expect this demand to continue.

“Far more businesses plan to adopt a hybrid working model after the pandemic, with time split between the office and remote working. In fact, 43 of the UK’s biggest employers have announced that they don’t plan to bring staff back to the office full-time.

“There is no doubt that connectivity has become more important than ever and will continue to be fundamental in keeping the mobile workforce in constant communication. We look forward to continuing our partnership with Plan.com and growing our presence even further.”

Keith Curran, co-founder of Plan.com, said: “We have partnered with Fusion Communications for the past seven years, and the business has always illustrated a clear understanding of the communications market and a drive to deliver outstanding support for all customers, which is something we always look for in a partner.

“We are grateful for Fusion’s commitment to impeccable customer experience and its passion for providing customers with the best business communications solutions for their needs.”

Established in 2013, Fusion Communications manages the communications for 250 small to medium businesses, including Midlands Air Ambulance, Birmingham Royal Ballet and APC Technology Group PLC.

The business offers a variety of communications solutions, including business mobiles, hosted and unified communications, fixed line and secure device management.
