Almost 1 million Russian state network emails leaked which are ‘essential to the state security’ of Russia

A group of hackers who are affiliated with Anonymous have leaked more than 900,000 Russian state network emails which the Kremlin considers are “essential to the state security.”

The hacking group are called Network Battalion 65 otherwise known a NB65 have leaked over 900,000 email from the All-Russia State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company (VGTRK).

The hacking group leaked emails by using Distributed Denial of Secrets (DDoSecrets) of the state owned broadcasting company and made 786.2GB cache available to the public which provides the truth overvRussia’s propaganda machine.

Emma Best, Co-founder DdoSecrets said in a tweet, this latest leak is “an unprecedented exposure of state-owned media and propaganda which the Russian government considers essential to the state security.”

VGTRK’s popular ‘Rossiya 1’ TV program has been heavily criticised for being the mouth piece of Vladimir Putin and his regime who spread misinformation fro the Kremlin.
