Anonymous leaks over 400,000 Top Secret Kremlin files in a major hack

Anonymous have leaked 437,500 emails belonging to three Russian companies- Aerogas, Forest, and Petrovsky Fort.

The trove of data leaked includes 244GB of around 300,000 emails from Petrovsky Fort who are based in Saint Petersburg and also hit Aerogas and leaked 145GB of information of 100,000 emails as they work closely with Russia’s oil and gas sector.

The Twitter account Latest Anon Press revealed the leak saying, “BREAKING: Over 700GB of Russian government data leaked.

“This data includes more than 200,000 emails from the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.”

Anonymous published the leaked emails on DDoSecrets who are a whistleblowing platform and have the motto, “Know the truth, though the heavens may fall and the world burn.”

DDoSecrets said, “This dataset was released in the build-up to, in the midst of, or in the aftermath of a cyberwar or hybrid.

“Therefore, there is an increased chance of malware, ulterior motives and altered or implanted data, or false flags/fake personas.”
