It appears the cyber war has officially started as Russian hackers known as Killnet claim to have taken down Anonymous servers and websites.

Over the past few days Anonymous have taken down the Kremlinโ€™s website, government websites and also hacked the TASS news agency and the RT propaganda news agency.

On Tuesday, according to some users who tried to access Anonymousโ€™ official website, โ€œanonymoushackers.net,โ€ were met with the message saying, โ€œSorry, that didnโ€™t work. Please try again or come back later. 500 Error. Internal Server Error.โ€

Killnet released a video with a person wearing a hoody and said, โ€œGreetings, Russians and friendly union nations.

โ€œThe internet is full of fake information about the hacking of Russian banks, hacks on Russian media servers, and much more.

โ€œNone of this poses any danger to people.

โ€œThis โ€˜information bombโ€™ is merely text and nothing more. Do not fall for fake information on the internet. Have no doubts about your country.โ€

The Killnet hackers said in the video that โ€œvery soon this conflict will end, and we will find peace.โ€
