Traydstream raises $8m in investment deal led by gunnercooke

London based Fintech Traydstream Limited has raised US $8m as part of a Series A funding round from institutional and private investors.

gunnercooke Corporate Partner Kyri Papantoniou led the legal side of the investment process, which began in summer last year.

Traydstream is a global provider of an AI powered platform to digitalise and automate trade finance document checking and is now live across 4 continents and 17 markets.

Traydstream CEO Sameer Sehgal commented: “The pandemic has caused a high level of disruption in trade finance and highlighted the weaknesses in existing models, which has led to a growing interest in our innovative platform. This latest funding will allow us to expand our infrastructure and people as we go through this exciting period of expansion.
