It is understood that the UK’s top army of cyber hackers have been deployed as the little known National Cyber Force (NCF) who specialise in online warfare have now engaged.
One senior insider told the Sun, “It’s fair to say they are working long hours on rolling shifts.”
On Tuesday evening Downing Street would not confirm nor deny of the NCF are now active in Eastern Europe, the Sun reported.
The elite unit have actively engaged in cyberspace security sources told the outlet on Tuesday evening.
The NCF consists of eavesdroppers from GCHQ, MI6 spies the Ministry of Defence as well as other expertise.
Some of their tactics involves penetrating mobile phone activity, computer servers to prevent attacks and can communicate directly with attackers in an attempt to dissuade them from continuing.
