Connectivity experts looking to expand into new technologies after two decades supporting some of the countryโ€™s largest construction, transport and critical infrastructure projects.

TrellisWorks, which specialises in delivering bespoke infrastructure to support CCTV, wireless, satellite and mobile connectivity solutions, is looking to recruit additional engineers and sales support as it further develops its reach into new technologies such as Private 5g and in-building cellular enhancement.

The company, which is currently celebrating a milestone year, has already seen significant growth in the last 12 months, particularly in key areas such as security, transport and construction. To meet growing demand, they are now looking to increase their team by a fifth over the next few months with up to 6 new roles in engineering and sales.

Dominic Scarr, joint Managing Director at the Berkshire based business, said: โ€œTrellisWorks has been providing innovative connectivity solutions to major UK and international businesses for over 20 years. Specialising in making complex problems simple, we bring together all aspects of connectivity to create adaptable networks for complex environments.
โ€œThink of creating wireless systems in underground caves, AI enabled CCTV on moving ships or setting up major construction teams with cellular and computer networks in the middle of empty fields with no access to existing traditional infrastructure.

โ€œTrellisWorks is at the forefront of the industry, helping to create the digital technology systems powering economic growth, keeping people safe and the world connected.โ€

Managing Director Grant Holman, who joined as an engineer in 2010, said: โ€œTrellisWorks has continued to go from strength to strength over the years driven by its passion for finding innovative solutions in complex situations. We are excited to be providing opportunities for the next generation of engineers looking for a new challenge and are keen to speak to individuals looking to be at the forefront of the next wave of digital technology.โ€

Formed in 2004, TrellisWorks has headquarters in Newbury, Berkshire, as well as a smaller regional office in Newcastle. They currently support a team of 30 engineers, sales experts and operational employees.

In the last 12 months the team has provided AI enabled CCTV solutions for the UKโ€™s new multi-million-pound Wightlink vessel, supported major upgrades to automated heating and lighting systems at Ministry of Defence (MoD) sites across the country, as well as designing enhanced connectivity solutions for prestigious UK racecourses hailed as โ€˜the futureโ€™ of the industry.

Working on major infrastructure projects they have also built-up longstanding connections and 20 years since first working with East Cowes Harbour they are now part of the team supporting the new 145-birth revolutionary Cowes Harbour Marina. Estimated to generate ยฃ23 million in economic benefits over 20 years TrellisWorks is providing leading AI enabled surveillance and wireless connectivity for the modern facilities.
